Events are Personality Missiles. Every institution boasts of its talents and the quest to shine is a never-ending one. In PSIT personalities are carved by undernoted events:

1) Waves: The Fresher Party

The introduction of the senior students the new batch requires a set of courtesy, music and substantial paraphernalia. “Waves”, is the best backdrop for a formal handshake. In fact, the entrants start their count down for this party the day they set their foot on the campus. Huge participation across all departments contributes to inter departmental bonding.

2) Ignitia: The Techno Cultural Fest

It is the professionalism combined with talent to showcase the development. The intense potential of the students is given vent through vibrant cultural activities that create a volcano of entertainment. This gala occasion consists of technical, cultural, and literary events for two days. This two-day shindig creates a huge impact which leaves the audience and participants craving for more.

3) Alumni meet

The institution beckons its ex-students for rejuvenation of the erstwhile bond. Besides placing a lot of emphasis on the teaching-learning process, PSIT Alumina also promotes a holistic personality growth to the new entrants. To this end, PSIT campus organizes several cultural and co-curricular activities in which the pass out students participate. Due care is taken that the students who enter the college are trained and groomed to become productive citizens of the nation.

4) Footprints : The sports Meet

The yearning and craving for highlighting the feats of sportsmen are satisfied by the much-coveted sports meet. Emancipating the pride of the parents by honouring the achievements of their wards in their presence adds more sheen to the event.

An eye-opener for the budding professionals of the future, this program serves to bring the students of the schools closer to the campus..

The Bustles:

• I) Connect: Inter School Championship organized by PSIT in Kanpur and Lucknow.
• II) Smartest Mind: PSIT organises competitions as a part of its drives to identify sharp and smart minds for the students of the intermediate category. The students are administered tests of Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Science, and English. The winners are awarded cash prizes to the tune of Rs. 2 Lakhs.
• III) Kanpur School Champion Vs Lucknow School Champion (K SC Vs LSC): The institute is a part of the crowning glory of the schools of Kanpur and Lucknow, whose students have bagged the School of the Year award.
• IV) Quiz time: It is an inter-college quiz competition. Reasoning and awareness are tested and points are also awarded for body language.
• v) TeDX and Josh Talks are also some major events conducted by PSIT, to polish the skills and personality of the students.

6) Achievers Award Ceremony:

The students are placed in the spotlight in the presence of their family members wherein recognition is accorded to their achievements in placements drives. The sash and memento of the occasion add to the aura of confidence of the placed students; the presence of their family is felicitated by flowers.

7) SAMANBHAV:

We at PSIT, make efforts for our helping hands, such as peons, drivers, gardeners and other staff. They showcase their talent at a platform, we organize workshops on etiquettes, games, question answers rounds etc. to bring the slightest change possible in the lives of our helping hands.
